It is a feature that allows you to connect your Android smartphone to your Windows PC and get texts and calls from either device. You can also check your texts, calls, and notifications on one device, make and take calls, reply to texts, and check and dismiss notifications without even taking your phone out of your pocket.

To set up Phone Link, follow these steps:

1. Launch Phone Link 1 or search for “Phone Link” on your Windows 11 PC taskbar.
2. Select ‘Android’ and scan the QR code to complete set-up.
3. Customize notification preferences.

1. Linking your phone during PC setup is a feature called “Link to Windows” which is available on Windows 10. Here’s how you can link your phone to your PC during the setup process:

    

   1. When setting up your new PC, choose “Set up for personal use” and follow the prompts until you see the “Link your phone and PC” screen.
   2. Click on “Link your phone” and follow the prompts to download and install the “Your Phone” app on your phone from the Google Play Store.
   3. Once the app is installed, open it and sign in with your Microsoft account.
   4. On your PC, select the type of phone you have and follow the prompts to complete the pairing process.
   5. Once your phone is linked to your PC, you can access your phone’s photos, messages, notifications, and more directly from your PC.

   Note: If you have already set up your PC and missed the opportunity to link your phone during setup, you can still link your phone by going to the Settings app, clicking on “Phone”, and following the prompts to link your phone.
